As far as I'm concerned, the idea of treating Revelation as literal is absurd. The two halves of the book tell us the same story, that the Church for 2000 years has been in tribulation and that that will continue until the return of Christ. The rapture and the second coming are one and the same event and the millennium is figurative for the eternal reign of God over a perfected Earth. These people need to understand the nature of apocalyptic language.
Amen! It amuses me that the contemporary form of Rapture predictions have been getting made since at least the Reaganite 80s. How long do "experts" have to be proven wrong before people stop taking them seriously?
